The AAU National Championship tournament was the pinnacle of the 11U teams season, but the team accomplished so much more in their journey towards the Nationals. The friendships that were made, the skills learned, and the confidence gained by each athlete will undoubtly carry-over to their upcoming school season. Below are the results of the teams efforts for 2008, with the support of their parents and families.

Team Tennessee Glory 12U finished 5th in the Peach State Hoops 13U college exposure event. The team lost by two points in a "Sudden Death" overtime to the Alabama Elite13U team. With the opening round loss the highest possible finish for the team was 5th place. Great job parents, coaches and players!!

2009 AAU 12U Super Regional Tournament CHAMPIONS!
The 12U GLORY traveled to Hammond, LA. to participate in the SRT hosted the New Orleans Dominos, May 1 - 3, 2009. The team got off to a quick start winning their pool, defeating the Acadian Stars and a very spirited game against LA.Nuggets. The GLORY faced the LA. Nuggets again in the semi-final game to advance to the championship to face the host 12U Dominos. The Dominos got out to any early 4-0 start, but the GLORY took a 10-4 lead and never looked back, with a final score of 59-34. The team had several outstanding plays over the weekend by Jasmine Cincore, Marisa Knox, Courtney Banks & Erin Peel, with sharp shooting from Emily Cook, Gabbi Salazar, Shondira Scruggs and Kayla Bolden. The teams defensive intensity was spirited by Yasmeen Brady and Shuntavia Rodgers, with good inside presence by Briana Giles. Overall the team went 4-0 for weekend to capture the 2009 Hammond AAU SRT title. Kingsport..here we come....

Congratulations to TEAM TENNESSEE GLORY 12U/7th Grade for their 3rd place finish at the 2009 AAU Tennessee State Championships in Murfreesboro, TN. May 9 11, 2009. The team finished 2-1 in pool play with wins over Team Pride Maroon and Team Memphis Elite and a loss to KGC. The team fell to TN Team Pride Gold in the semi-finals, which placed them in the consolation game against Team Memphis Elite-Holmes. The team captured a win in consolation game to finish 3rd place overall.

2009 12U makes 'Elite 16' at AAU D1 Nationals!
Team Tennessee Glory 12U swept through their pool play, 3-0, to make the Championship bracket at the AAU Div.1 AAU National Championships held in Kingsport, TN., July 3 - 8, 2009. The team defeated the Kentucky Blast, to advance to the Elite Sixteen where the faced TN Team Pride. The team played hard but could not overcome the 1st half deficit. The loss placed the team against the St. Louis Triple Threat where the lost in a thrilling OT defeat 51-52.
The 12U GLORY finished tied for 13th place out of 58 teams.
